Now that Gary is semi-retired, he is selective to what auctions he accepts.

 Gary has over 35 years experience auctioneering and even more years owning and managing various businesses.  He got his start at age 6 milking cows and selling milk which lead to mowing lawns, shoveling snow, bucking hay, operating heavy equipment & semi trucks, he done construction and carpenter work.  He accomplished learning all of those trades before he graduated high school in Colville, WA in 1978.  Since that time he has owned successful retail furniture stores, used car dealership, clothing store, wholesale distributorship and a factory.  In his spare time, he was an wrestling coach at Colville and in Lebanon school districts.
 Gary grew up attending auctions with his dad, who at one time made his living as a livestock auction ringman, part time auctioneer and cattle buyer.  As a young child attending auctions with his father, Gary would be coaxed with candy to demonstrate how he could mimic the auctioneer. In 1986, Gary became licensed and started auctioneering professionally.  For several years Gary was employed by a liquidation company and traveled the Western United States conducting auctions.  He has done all types of auctions from small benefits up to large dollar auctions.  Gary’s reputation and experience in the auction industry is unmatched.  When other auctioneers and auction companies need help, he contracts his services out to them.
